the problem with this ammo supply is that American ammunition cost significantly more to produce than the russian made one. also once the ammunition is ready, the cost is also huge in shipping that ammunition to Europe than being transported by railway to Ukraine at a significant distance compare to how russia ships its ammunition from the factory to ukraine.
this huge amount will be bear by the US taxpayer and this war is already unpopular in America and will bring the downfall of the Biden administration.
