Russia's equipment continues to be degraded. Western countries continue to deliver more advanced and lethal weapons to Ukraine. The 155 mm howitzers have greater range and higher accuracy. This allows the artillery to operate from large distances from Russia's ability to destroy them. The war of attrition doesn't favor Russia as Ukraine continues to be re-supplied with Western weapons. Most Russian soldiers are poorly trained conscripts who have no desire to fight, whereas Ukrainian forces are highly motivated to defend their homeland.
