Considering the U.S. role in forcing Ukraine to give its big explody fireball armaments up to Russia back in 1994 under the Budapest Memorandum, the U.S. really doesn't have much right to deny hardly any aid to Ukraine. The U.S. and Great Britain are signed on as guarantors of Ukraine's border, (though they removed the word guarantee in order to shrug off any responsibility) so the U.S. better hope that Ukraine gets back all its territory (including the Crimean peninsula).
